VORAGO Technologies VA4 Radiation Hardened Microcontrollers (MCUs)
VORAGO Technologies VA4 Radiation Hardened Microcontrollers (MCUs) deliver robust performance for the user's most critical applications with radiation protection of >200krad (Si) total ionizing dose (TID), virtually eliminating Single-Event Effects (SEE). For example, single-event latch-ups occur when a single, high-energy subatomic particle (such as a heavy ion or proton from cosmic rays or solar flares) strikes an electronic component. The VA4 virtually eliminates these errors across 15+ year missions.
The highly integrated VORAGO Technologies VA4 Radiation Hardened MCUs include non-volatile memory (NVM). The VA4 provides high functional density for space-based applications and is QML-Q+ qualified for use in space and defense applications.
