Texas Instruments INA751x Current-Sense Amplifier
Texas Instruments INA751x Current-Sense Amplifier is a voltage-output current-sense amplifier with an integrated 800µΩ shunt resistor. This amplifier is designed to monitor bidirectional current over a common-mode range of -4V to +110V, independent of the supply voltage. The adjustable gain option helps optimize the system's dynamic range. The INA751x current-sense amplifier operates from a single 2.7V to 5.5V power supply, drawing a maximum of 4.25mA of supply current. Applications include 48V DC/DC converters, 48V battery management systems, macro Remote Radio Unit (RRU), 48V rack servers, 48V merchant network, and server Power Supply Unit (PSU).
The Texas Instruments INA751x amplifier features an internal amplifier with a precision zero-drift topology and an excellent Common-Mode Rejection Ratio (CMRR). This high-speed current-sensing amplifier helps the output settle quickly after common-mode transients. All versions are specified over the extended operating temperature range (-40°C to +125°C) and are available in a 14-pin VQFN package.
