Texas Instruments DP83TC818S-Q1 Automotive Ethernet IC
Texas Instruments DP83TC818S-Q1 Automotive Ethernet IC is a precise and secure 100BASE-T1 Ethernet with Audio Video Bridging (AVB) clock generation. This Ethernet IC is IEEE 802.3bw and Open Alliance (OA) compliant. The DP83TC818S-Q1 IC provides all physical layer functions that need to transmit and receive data over unshielded/shielded single twisted-pair cables. The DP83TC818S-Q1 IC integrates IEEE 802.1AE line rate security with authentication and optional encryption support to secure communication over the network. This device is AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications. The DP83TC818S-Q1 IC is ideal for infotainment and cluster, AVB audio/video, body electronics and lighting, body control module, zone control module, and telematics. The DP83TC818S-Q1 Ethernet IC offers ingress classification to filter unwanted packets and supports WAN MACsec for end-to-end security. This IC is footprint-compatible with TI's 100BASE-T1 PHYs, and 1000BASE-T1 PHYs, enabling design scalability with a single board for different speeds and features.
