Texas Instruments DLPC23x-Q1 DLP® Automotive DMD Controllers
Texas Instruments DLPC23x-Q1 DLP® Automotive DMD Controllers are part of two DMD chipsets, the DLP5530-Q1 and DLP5531-Q1. Both these chipsets include a 0.55” DMD and the TPS99000-Q1 System Management and Illumination controller. These DLPC23x-Q1 DMD Controllers integrate an embedded processor with error code correction (SECDED ECC), allowing host control and real-time feedback, on-chip diagnostics, and system monitoring functions. The need for external DRAM is eliminated via the included on-chip SRAM. With the TPS99000-Q1, the DLPC23x-Q1 supports high dynamic range dimming of over 5000:1 for HUD applications. The sub-LVDS 600MHz DMD interface allows high DMD refresh rates to generate seamless and brilliant digital images while simultaneously reducing radiated emissions. The DLPC23x-Q1 DMD controllers are AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications. These controllers are used in digital clusters, high-resolution headlights, infotainment windshield displays, and navigation.
