STMicroelectronics AEK-MCU-SPC5LNK Dongle for SPC58
STMicroelectronics AEK-MCU-SPC5LNK Dongle is developed as a debugger/programmer dongle for SPC58 automotive microcontrollers. The AEK-MCU-SPC5LNK combines a passive USB-to-JTAG debugger and programmer, offering a cost-effective, small-size, and fast-prototyping solution for all vehicle applications. The device presents a short development time with easy-to-use hardware and simple software fully integrated into SPC5-Studio and AutoDevKit Studio IDEs. The JTAG interface allows a straightforward plug to any STMicroelectronics standalone automotive microcontroller and its evaluation boards (compliant with the IEEE 1149.1 JTAG protocol).
The AEK-MCU-SPC5LNK supplies a virtual COM port interface that facilitates the host PC's communication with the microcontroller via UART.
The dongles are offered in two types, the AEK-MCU-SPC5LNK, to be used with OpenOCD, and AEK-MCU-SPC5LNKU, to be utilized with UDE PLS.
