NXP Semiconductors FRDM-K28F Freedom Board for K28F MCUs
NXP Semiconductors FRDM-K28F Freedom Development Board is an evaluation platform for the Kinetis® K27 and K28 Microcontrollers. The FRDM-K28F Board is form-factor compatible with the Arduino™ R3 pin layout, providing a broad range of expansion board options. The onboard interface includes a 6-axis digital accelerometer and magnetometer, RGB LED, FlexIO socket, SD card interface, mobile SDRAM memory, and external serial flash memory. The FRDM-K28F includes an NXP open source hardware embedded serial and debug adapter (OpenSDAv2.2) running an open-source bootloader, which offers options for serial communication, flash programming, and run-control debugging. The FRDM-K28F is enabled using NXP MCUXpresso Config Tools, MCUXpresso SDK, Power Estimation Tool, and MCUXpresso IDE (Integrated Development Environment), and a large software partner ecosystem.
