Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP6951 Fast Turn-Off Rectifiers

Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP6951 Fast Turn-Off Rectifiers are used for high-frequency flyback converters. The Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP6951 rectifiers support various modes, including DCM, CCM, QR, ZVS, active clamp flyback, and HFB, with a switching frequency of up to 1MHz. The devices operate over a wide output voltage range down to 0V, eliminating the need for an auxiliary winding. The rectifiers include VDS ringing detection to prevent false triggering and work with GaN and SiC MOSFETs. With fast switching speeds, low quiescent current (<300μA), and support for high-/low-side rectification, the devices come in a compact TSOT23-6 package.

Features

  • Supports Discontinuous Conduction Mode (DCM), Continuous Conduction Mode (CCM), Quasi-Resonant (QR), Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS), active clamp flyback, and hybrid flyback (HFB)
  • Up to 1MHz switching frequency (fSW)
  • Wide output voltage (VOUT) range down to 0V
