MikroE MIKROE-6181 Mikromedia 3 for Kinetis Resistive has features that allow it to be expanded beyond multimedia-based applications. The board offers USB, a digital motion sensor, battery charging functionality, and an SD card reader.

Two standardized 1x26 pin headers on the MikroE MIKROE-6181 Mikromedia 3 reveal the available MCU pins to the user, adding another layer of expandability. Connectivity can be further expanded with several mikroBUS™ sockets, additional connectors, and peripherals using a mikromedia 3 shield. The device employs a 3.5" TFT display with a resistive touch screen driven by the powerful graphics controller that can display the 24-bit color palette (16.7 million colors). Adding a DSP-powered embedded sound CODEC IC, the Mikromedia 3 for Kinetis is an ideal solution for any multimedia application.
