Infineon Technologies RASIC™ CTRX8191F Radar MMIC

Infineon Technologies RASIC™ CTRX8191F Radar Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit (MMIC) is specifically designed to meet the requirements of automated and autonomous driving. This 28nm radar MMIC provides high performance at low system costs, enabling the development of next-generation radar imaging modules. The CTRX8191F features an improved signal-to-noise ratio and higher performance than previous generations. The next-generation device detects vulnerable road users and vehicles at a distance of up to 380m, using system configurations with eight transmitters and eight receivers. The optimized launcher-on-package design facilitates the use of cost-effective waveguide antennas, while the digital PLL offers high flexibility in generating complex waveforms with a short flyback time of <1µs. Infineon Technologies RASIC CTRX8191F Radar MMIC enables the cascading of multiple devices at low frequencies, minimizing the need for RF materials on the circuit board.
