HARTING Han® Ex Industrial Connector Sets
HARTING Han® Ex Industrial Connector Sets are 3A connectors designed for explosion-proof applications. Each HARTING Han Ex set comprises a hood, housing, and a high pin count insert. The connectors are designed for use in intrinsically safe circuits of categories "ia", "ib," and "ic" of explosion protection method "Ex i." The series is suitable for Zones 0, 1, and 2 for gas and Zones 20, 21, and 22 for dust. The "Ex i" protection method ensures intrinsically safe electrical circuitry that is limited for maximum voltage, current, capacity, and inductance. The blue color of the Han Ex housing indicates that an intrinsically safe circuit is present. The series is ideal for a wide range of applications where the substance being processed or transported is potentially explosive or combustible.Features
