Texas Instruments TPSM336xx-Q1 Buck Converter Power Modules

Texas Instruments TPSM336xx-Q1 Buck Converter Power Modules offer a 0.6A, 1A, or 2A, 36V input in a flip-chip on-lead package. The automotive, synchronous, step-down, DC/DC power module features integrated power MOSFETs, an AEC-Q200 qualified inductor, and a boot capacitor. The small HotRod QFN package enhances the thermal performance, ensuring high ambient temperature operation. Meanwhile, the spread spectrum helps accomplish excellent EMI performance.

The TI TPSM336xx-Q1 Buck Converter Power Modules are available in two fixed output voltage options supporting 3.3V and 5V. The devices can be configured for 1V up to 7V output with a feedback divider and operated in auto or forced PWM mode via the MODE/SYNC pin. The modules only require four external components for a 3.3V and 5V fixed output design, simplifying PCB layout and design. The TPSM336xx-Q1 is developed to meet low standby power conditions for always-on, automotive applications. Auto mode allows frequency foldback when operating at light loads, facilitating high light-load efficiency. DRSS is used to decrease the external components of the input EMI filter.
