Diodes Incorporated AP43776Q USB Type-C™ Protocol Decoder is a highly integrated, dual-channel, PD3.1/PPS, BC 1.2, and QC protocol decoder. This protocol decoder supports the full range of PPS APDO from 3.3V to 21V with 20mV/step voltage resolution. The AP43776Q protocol decoder also supports up to 6A current with 50mA/step resolution for power management. This protocol decoder features e-Maker detection, VCONN 30MA capability, I2C interface and interrupt, output power de-rating for low battery, and moisture detection between DP and DN. The AP43776Q protocol decoder also features a built-in ADC and a multi-channel multiplexer for voltage and temperature measurement.The AP43776Q protocol decoder provides an embedded MCU and built-in ADC converters for voltage and temperature measurement. This protocol decoder supports smart power-management functions, such as a power-sharing scheme between two attached USB Type-C PD devices. The AP43776Q protocol decoder is RoHS-compliant and lead, halogen, and antimony free. This protocol decoder is ideal for automotive applications requiring specific change control.
