  The Digi Remote Manager Configuration Manager is a robust feature for configuring any number of Digi devices at one time for rapid deployment. Configuration Manager can perform individual or group firmware updates after deploying your devices. It acts as a watchdog over the network, ensuring your device configurations remain in compliance, alerting you if they fall out of compliance, and remediating them back to the approved configuration.

  Managing connected devices is not a one-and-done effort. Devices in an IoT deployment today are smarter, more edge-capable, and more critical to business processes. And deployed networks are larger, often numbering in the hundreds or thousands. Digi Remote Manager is your command center for keeping your devices updated and in compliance, letting you deploy mass firmware updates, sending Python files to enhance device functionality, and troubleshooting and diagnosing issues in any of those devices at any time. The Configuration Manager feature enables rapid initial device configuration by grouping devices requiring the same configuration.   Digi Remote Manager not only monitors device health and sends actionable alerts, but it also offers out-of-band management. Digi Remote Manager lets you remotely access many devices via console access with secure out-of-band management. Network administrators have serial connection access through a combination of Digi Remote Manager's business-level service and cellular products running the Digi Accelerated Linux (DAL) operating system.

Subscriptions

Digi Remote Manager is offered in Standard and Premier subscriptions. Both subscription plans allow users to add, configure, and monitor devices on the system. The Premier subscription plan also adds Configuration Manager, a tool that can create a snapshot of a device and then propagate it to other units. Other Premier features include loading a configuration and firmware onto a device when it first connects to Digi Remote Manager, carrier integration, scheduled tasks, automatic device security compliance management, and more.

The Digi Remote Manager Premier 5-year software service will include a 2-year extended warranty for Cellular Routers and Gateways purchased on or after October 1, 2020, and applies to the original device registered in Digi Remote Manager at the time of purchase.

• Digi Remote Manager Subscription Comparison

Now it’s even easier for users to register their devices via a QR code with the Digi Remote Manager mobile app. Once a device is registered in your customer account, you can set a custom configuration to be applied using the Configuration Manager feature automatically. View the overall health of your network and individual device status using the Digi Remote Manager mobile app.

Digi Remote Manager's Dark Mode option ensures that field engineers operating from a tablet or phone can easily see the dashboards on their physical screens, no matter the lighting or conditions.
