Apex Microtechnology MSA303/MSA303A Integrated Power Modules

Apex Microtechnology MSA303/MSA303A Integrated Power Modules are fully integrated three-phase drivers developed especially to drive Brush-Less DC (BLDC) and Permanent Magnet Synchronous (PMSM) motors, or DC/AC converters. The MSA303/MSA303A implements Silicon Carbide MOSFET technology to improve efficiency over other devices in its class. Three fully independent half-bridges provide 40A of continuous current. MSA303 is built on a thermally conductive, electrically isolated substrate to provide the greatest versatility and ease of heatsinking.

The Apex MSA303/MSA303A Integrated Power Modules offer protection features, including under-voltage lockout (UVLO) function and active Miller clamping to improve reliability. The module additionally features Silicon Carbide Schottky Barrier free-wheeling diodes in parallel to the body diode of each MOSFET. No external output protection diodes are required.
