Analog Devices Inc. ADMV1530-EVALZ Evaluation Board

Analog Devices ADMV1530-EVALZ Evaluation Board implements RF circuit design techniques in an application. The ADI ADMV1530-EVALZ board demonstrates the ADMV1530 general-purpose, double-balanced mixer used as either an upconverter or a downconverter from 5GHz to 30GHz. The ADMV1530-EVALZ signal lines require 50Ω impedance with the package ground leads and exposed pad connected directly to the ground plane.

Features

  • Conversion loss (downconverter) at 7dB typical at 15GHz to 30GHz
  • Input IP3 (downconverter) at 27dBm typical at 15GHz to 30GHz
  • Input IP2 (upconverter) at 50dBm typical at 15GHz to 30GHz
  • Input 1dB compression point (downconverter) at 17dBm typical
  • LO to RF isolation at 40dB typical
  • LO to IF isolation at 50dB typical at 15GHz to 30GHz
  • RF to IF isolation at 25dB typical at 15GHz to 30GHz
  • 18-terminal, RoHS compliant, 4mm × 4mm LGA package

Applications

  • Microwave and very small aperture terminal (VSAT) radios
  • Test equipment
  • Military electronic warfare (EW)
  • Electronic countermeasure (ECM)
  • Command, control, communications, and intelligence (C3I)
