3D Time of Flight Sensor Solutions

Banner Engineering 3D Time of Flight (TOF) Sensor Solutions enable users to measure exact distances to targets. TOF sensors emit a signal that reflects off an object's surface and returns to the receiver, and the speed of that response is interpreted as a physical distance. Banner 3D TOF sensors analyze many points across a three-dimensional area, allowing for measurement of non-uniform targets.

K50Z Multipoint Sensor

Banner Engineering K50Z Multipoint Sensor is an optical sensor that uses 3D Time-of-Flight technology to measure the nearest-distance and angled targets more reliably than other methods. The 64 measurement points can capture the nearest distance and the average height over a large area, which gives more information than a single-point sensor. This sensor has a configurable sensing range of up to 2 meters with a wide 45° x 45° field of view. The K50Z sensor is completely self-contained, and no external lighting, controller, or PC is required. This sensor has dual discrete outputs and can be configured by IO-link or with the Banner Measurement Sensor Software for advanced configuration and diagnostics. The K50Z sensor has a compact IP67 housing designed for industrial environments and is ideal for fill applications or area detection.
