ATWILC3000 SD Card Evaluation Kit

Microchip ATWILC3000 SD Card Evaluation Kit includes a WILC3000 SD card interface board that supports IEEE® 802.11 b/g/n standard and Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) 5.0. This Microchip extension board is designed to demonstrate the features of the low-power consumption ATWILC3000-MR110CA IoT module. The WILC3000 board can be connected to any host microcontroller board with Secure Digital Input/Output (SDIO) or Multimedia Card plus (MMCplus). This connection is established via an onboard MMCplus card connector using either SDIO/SPI for controlling Wi-Fi. The BLUETOOTH® UART is connected to the host microcontroller using the Bluetooth header for controlling the Bluetooth of the ATWILC3000 module.

ATWILC3000 Single-Chip SoCs

Atmel / Microchip ATWILC3000 Single-Chip SoCs are IEEE® 802.11 b/g/n RF/Baseband/MAC link controllers and BLUETOOTH® 4.0 modules optimized for low-power mobile applications. These SoCs offer a single-stream 1x1 802.11n mode and up to 75Mbps PHY rate. The ATWILC3000 SoCs feature a fully integrated power amplifier, Low-Noise Amplifier (LNA), switch, and power management. These single-chip SoCs offer very low power consumption, high performance, and minimal materials cost. The ATWILC3000 SoCs feature UART, SPI, I2C, and SDIO peripheral interfaces. These SoCs are in QFN and Wafer Level Chip Scale Package (WLCSP) packaging.
