CIPOS™ Nano Intelligent Power Modules (IPMs)

Infineon CIPOS™ Nano Intelligent Power Modules (IPMs) are a family of highly integrated power modules for high-efficiency consumer and light industrial applications. With half-bridge and three-phase configurations, CIPOS Nano is designed for the rectifier, converter, and inverter stage in power management circuits and motor drives. These applications include fans, hairdryers, air purifiers, and circulation pumps. These devices implement an innovative Power QFN package, which utilizes PCB copper traces to dissipate heat from the module. The CIPOS Nano family delivers a new benchmark in device size, offering up to a 60% smaller footprint than existing three-phase motor control power IPMs. CIPOS Nano family also offers fully integrated Smart IPMs, which combine the industry-leading iMOTION™ MCE 2.0 (Motor Control Engine) and the 3-phase inverter in a highly compact 12x12mm2 package.

EiceDRIVER™ Gate Driver ICs

Infineon EiceDRIVER™ Gate Driver ICs are designed for MOSFETs, IGBTs, SiC MOSFETs, and GaN HEMTs devices. EiceDRIVER™ gate drivers provide a wide range of typical output current options, from 0.1A up to 10A. These devices have robust gate drive protection features such as fast short-circuit protection (DESAT), active Miller clamp, shoot-through protection, fault, shutdown, and over current protection. These features make these driver ICs well-suited for both silicon and wide-bandgap power devices, including CoolGaN™, and CoolSiC™. That’s why Infineon offers more than 500 EiceDRIVER™ gate driver IC solutions suitable for any power switch, and any application.
