Raspberry Pi Single-Board Computers (SBC) provide a low-cost, modular, open-design solution geared towards the promotion of teaching/learning basic computer science. The computers feature variations in the type of central processing unit, memory capacity, networking support, and peripheral device support. These SBCs feature a Broadcom System on a Chip (SoC) with an integrated Arm®-compatible Central Processing Unit (CPU) and an on-chip graphics processing unit (GPU). Raspberry Pi Pico utilizes an RP2040 SoC with an integrated Arm-compatible central processing unit (CPU).

3 Model A+ & B+ Single Board Computers

Raspberry Pi 3 Model A+ & B+ Single Board Computers (SBCs) feature a 64-bit quad-core processor operating at 1.4GHz, dual-band 2.4GHz/5GHz wireless LAN, and BLUETOOTH® 4.2/BLE. With modular compliance certification, the dual-band wireless LAN allows designing into end products with reduced wireless LAN compliance testing. This reduction in testing improves cost and time-to-market. The Raspberry Pi Model 3A+ SBCs provide the same mechanical format as the Raspberry Pi 1 Model A+.
