Automotive Switch ICs

ROHM Semiconductor Automotive Switch ICs integrate a low ON-resistance MOSFET and multiple protection circuits on a single chip. This results in a low loss, high efficiency, stable, and reliable operation. The ROHM Semiconductor AEC-Q100 qualified ICs consist of power management ICs and Intelligent Power Devices (IPDs) with smart low-side or high-side switch ICs. The IPDs have several advantages over mechanical relays. The devices have better protection and recovery function from an electrical short and offer FIT (Failure In Time) rate improvement by a non-mechanical approach. The ICs also have space-saving solutions in the compact packages that are offered. These switch ICs are available for broad compatibility from single-channel to multi-channel high-side switches. The automotive switch ICs come in various packages to match the requirements of the designers.

BM2LC120FJ-C Automotive IPD 2ch Low Side Switch

ROHM Semiconductor BM2LC120FJ-C Automotive IPD 2ch Low Side Switch is an AEC-Q100 qualified device that comes with built-in OCP, TSD, and active clamp function. This BM2LC120FJ-C automotive switch features a monolithic power management IC with the control block (CMOS) and power MOSFET mounted on a single chip. The automotive switch is available in 4.90mm x 6.00mm x 1.65mm dimensions SOP-J8 package. ROHM Semiconductor BM2LC120FJ-C Switch is suitable for driving resistive, inductive, and capacitive load.
