BA60951CS AEC-Q200 2.25W Flyback Transformer

Bourns BA60951CS 2.25W Flyback Transformer is an automotive-grade, AEC-Q200-compliant device in a low-profile SMT package (2.9mm x 2.4mm x 1.1mm). This transformer is designed with a minimum 8mm creepage distance for an 800V working voltage, which is ideal for electric vehicle (EV) applications requiring a high isolation voltage. Typical automotive applications include powering battery management systems and isolated power across separate voltage systems in hybrid vehicles. Bourns BA60951CS 2.25W Flyback Transformer is designed for a 250kHz switching frequency and provides 2.25W output power. The transformer can be used with many flyback controller ICs and can be customized for other output voltages and applications.

Electrification Solutions

Bourns Electrification Solutions feature a comprehensive range of transformers, chokes, diodes, resistors, fuses, transistors, and varistors. These products are designed for systems used in the process of electrification, which is the transition from traditional sources of energy, such as oil and gas, to cleaner and more sustainable forms of energy. Electrification affects how cars are refueled, homes are heated, and industries are powered, with the end goal being a reduction in air pollution and energy waste. One example is a heat pump, which is up to 3x more efficient than a boiler to save on heating bills.

Battery Management System

Bourns Battery Management Systems (BMS) manage the state of health (SoC) while charging and discharging battery systems. BMS components feature shunt resistors, high-voltage signals, power transformers, and shielded power inductors. Current sense resistors are AEC-Q200 qualified with a continuous current of 1000A and a low 50µΩ resistance. Bourns signal transformers include common-mode chokes for noise rejection for BMS applications. The shielded power inductors and high creepage high clearance (HCT) transformers are suitable for automotive power conversion, DC-DC converters, power supplies, and communication electronics.

Magnetic Products

Bourns Magnetic Products are engineered to meet essential power application requirements for power conversion, isolation, EMC compliance, signal integrity, and increased power density. Bourns offers a broad, proven, and continually expanding portfolio of miniaturized, automotive grade, high quality, and high-reliability components. Bourns Magnetic Products are key elements in many of today’s breakthrough designs, such as electric vehicles, high power battery charging, e-mobility, renewable energy, energy storage, the Internet of Things (IoT), and industrial infrastructure.
