Analog Devices AD411x Low Power 24-bit Analog to Digital Converters (ADCs) are low noise, sigma-delta (Σ-Δ) converters. These ADCs integrate an Analog Front End (AFE) for fully differential or single-ended inputs. The AD411x ADCs offer ≥1MΩ bipolar high impedance, ±10V voltage inputs, and 0mA to 20mA current inputs. These ADCs also integrate key analog and digital signal conditioning blocks to configure eight individual setups for each analog input channel in use.The AD411x ADCs feature a maximum channel scan rate of 6.2kS/s (kilo samples per second) (161μs) for fully settled data. The precision performance of the AD411x ADCs is achieved by integrating the proprietary iPassives™ technology from Analog Devices Inc. The AD4111 series ADC has the unique feature of open wire detection on the voltage inputs for system level diagnostics using a single 5V or 3.3V power supply. The AD411x ADCs operating temperature range is from −40°C to 105°C. These ADCs are housed in a 40-lead, 6mm × 6mm LFCSP package. The AD411x ADCs find their applications in Programmable Automation Controller (PLC) and Distributed Control System (DCS) modules.
