DBM20 24V 20A DIN Rail Mount Buffer Modules

TDK-Lambda DBM20 24V 20A DIN Rail Mount Buffer Modules are ideally suited for supplying short-term hold-up or peak power for loads connected to a 24VDC output AC-DC power supply. They can provide an additional 250ms hold-up at 448W output power. During normal operation, energy is stored in the DBM20's electrolytic capacitors. When the AC power is briefly interrupted, the modules continue to power the load, allowing equipment to shut-down in a safe, controlled manner. The DBM20 series can be set to fixed or variable buffer mode. In fixed mode, the modules provide power when the input voltage drops to 22.4V and, in variable mode, when the input decreases by 1V. Multiple buffer modules can be paralleled to extend the hold-up time. Product status can be accessed remotely through a DC OK relay or locally with the LED indicators. An output remote On/Off function prevents the unsafe discharge of stored energy.
