Telehealth/Medical Solutions

Microchip Technology Telehealth/Medical Solutions address the increased need for medical IoT devices in the growing telehealth segment of the medical market. Through its focused Medical Products Group, Microchip has been supporting medical device designers for many years. Microchip supports all classes of medical devices without restrictions and has unmatched long-term support for its product. Microchip gives medical IoT device developers a broad range of products, demonstration design files, and experienced support to make their Medical IoT designs smart, connected, and secure.

Automotive Analog Products

Designers of electronic control modules within the automobile are being challenged to deliver increased performance in a variety of systems, including powertrain, chassis, comfort, driver information, entertainment, and safety. Microchip Technology's broad portfolio of low-power analog products enables the development of cost-effective solutions that address these challenges and others facing the system designer. As one of the first companies to apply Non-Volatile Memory (NVM) technology to the development process for analog products, Microchip has utilized its NVM experience to deliver innovative analog solutions with unchallenged electrical characteristics.

Digital-to-Analog Converters (DACs)

Microchip Digital-to-Analog Converters (DACs) meet precision-controlled conversion applications' low-power needs. This DAC portfolio supports 8-, 10- and 12-bit resolution with one to four channels. Microchip's unique and integrated non-volatile memory option allows for saving configuration at power down, reducing microcontroller overhead. This simplifies system design. Several Microchip Digital-to-Analog Converters offer high-precision control at 1LSb of Integral Nonlinearity (INL), improving overall static and dynamic performance. Small form factor SOT-23 and DFN (2X2) packages support space-constrained designs.

MCP4728 Quad DAC with EEPROM

Microchip Technology MCP4728 is the industry's first 12-bit Quad Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) to include non-volatile EEPROM, which allows the DAC´s configuration to be loaded automatically on start up. The non-volatile EEPROM gives designers the flexibility to program MCP4728 DAC input codes, configuration bits, and I2C address bits to the EEPROM using I2C serial-interface commands. This Microchip Technology Quad DAC holds its data during power-off time and its configuration and outputs are available immediately after power-up. The Microchip Technology MCP4728 also extends battery life by allowing each channel to be individually shut down, which can reduce power consumption to as low as 0.04 microamperes.
