XR21x14x Universal Async Receiver Transmitters

MaxLinear XR21x14x Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitters with USB 2.0 compliant bus interface are part of a fast UART series. The USB interface on the MaxLinear XR21x14x supports a 12Mbps USB data transfer rate, USB suspend, resume, and remote wakeup operations. These MaxLinear UARTs operate from an internal 48MHz clock, require no external crystal/oscillator, and can accurately generate any baud rate using the internal clock. The UART series includes an automatic transceiver direction control feature that simplifies the hardware for RS-485 applications. The XR21x14x UART is ideal for portable appliances, external converters (dongles), and battery-operated devices.
